2017 Tax Season Deadlines

Another tax season is officially upon us… Yes, we know you are excited.

Below are some tax deadlines to be aware of in 2017:

 

January 31, 2017 – Government copies of 2016 W-2s and 1099-MISC are due; 4th quarter 2016 payroll tax returns (i.e. Forms 941, 940, etc.) are also due.

March 15, 2017 – 2016 Partnership and S Corporation returns are due.

March 31, 2017 – 2017 Florida Tangible Personal Property returns are due (per county, such as Miami-Dade).

April 18, 2017 – 2016 Individual, Corporate, and Fiduciary returns are due; 1st quarter 2017 estimated tax payments are also due; 2016 Reports of Foreign Bank and Financial Accounts (FBAR) are due.

May 1, 2017 – 1st quarter 2017 payroll tax returns are due; 2017 FL Annual Reports are also due.

May 15, 2017 – 2016 Exempt Organization tax returns are due.

June 15, 2017 – 2016 Foreign Individual and U.S. Citizens Living Abroad returns are due; 2nd quarter 2017 estimated tax payments are also due.

July 31, 2017 – 2nd quarter 2017 payroll tax returns are due.

September 15, 2017 – 2016 Partnership, S Corporation, and Fiduciary returns on extension are due; 3rd quarter 2017 estimated tax payments are also due.

October 16, 2017 – 2016 Individual and Corporation returns on extension are due.

October 31, 2017 – 3rd quarter 2017 payroll tax returns are due.

December 15, 2017 – 4th quarter 2017 corporation estimated tax payments are due; 2016 Foreign individual returns on extension may also be due.
